Omnea, a prominent AI-native procurement intake and orchestration platform, has successfully closed a $50 million Series B round, led by Insight Partners and Khosla Ventures. The capital is earmarked to accelerate the company's ambitious shift towards a new era of AI-powered supplier relationship management (AI SRM).
The round also saw participation from Accel, Point Nine, First Round Capital, and Prosus, bringing Omnea’s total funding to over $75 million.

This latest capital injection follows a period of remarkable expansion for Omnea. The company reported a fivefold increase in revenue and more than tripled its headcount over the past year. Consequently, it has attracted a roster of high-profile enterprise clients across North America and Europe, including Spotify, Albertsons, Wise, Adecco, and MongoDB.
Omnea's Strategic Investment in AI-Powered Procurement
The current economic climate presents significant challenges for businesses globally. Increased interest rates, rising operational costs, and an evolving regulatory landscape exert considerable financial pressure. Simultaneously, enterprises are managing an unprecedented number of suppliers, driven by the rapid adoption of new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, across all departments.
Procurement, therefore, finds itself at a critical juncture. It is tasked with maintaining disciplined spending while continuously assessing and mitigating third-party risks associated with every potential supplier. Despite its strategic importance, the sector remains notoriously underserved by modern software. Clunky, manual processes often relegate procurement to a mere administrative function.
Jeff Lieberman, Managing Director at Insight Partners, highlighted the platform's strong user advocacy. "Of the many players we looked at in the market, Omnea had the happiest customers out there," he noted. "The company uses AI to deliver a modern, seamless procurement process that helps employees get the suppliers they need quickly and compliantly." Indeed, Omnea’s clients, from disruptive tech firms to Fortune 500 giants, are reportedly saving millions by reducing duplicative and underutilized suppliers.
Ben Kung, VP Finance at Spotify, echoed this sentiment. "Omnea's AI capabilities and workflow automation can replace fragmented systems, endless email threads, and manual spreadsheets," he commented. This enables a single source of truth for every request, review, and risk check, eliminating manual busywork.
"Businesses hold a treasure trove of supplier data, but its value is locked away in spreadsheets, inboxes, and siloed point solutions," explained Ben Freeman, Omnea Founder and CEO. "Our AI SRM platform unlocks that data at every organizational level." This means proactively flagging expired certifications for risk teams, launching RFPs for procurement, and delivering relevant reports to CFOs, all via an intuitive interface.
Vinod Khosla of Khosla Ventures emphasized the broader industry shift. "AI is reshaping how work gets done inside large enterprises, especially in outdated areas like procurement," he stated. Khosla views Omnea as the first full AI supplier relationship management platform.
