NeoLogic Secures $10M Series A for Energy-Efficient AI CPUs

NeoLogic, an Israel-based fabless semiconductor startup, secured $10 million in Series A funding. KOMPAS VC led the round, with participation from M Ventures, Maniv Mobility, and lool Ventures. This capital will advance its energy-efficient AI CPUs for data centers.

Founded in 2021 by Avi Messica (CEO) and Ziv Leshem (CTO), NeoLogic develops server CPUs. These energy-efficient AI CPUs utilize simplified logic, reducing transistors and logic gates. Consequently, they operate faster while consuming less power.

Fueling Next-Gen AI Processing

The company plans to expand its engineering team and continue CPU development. This funding addresses the increasing energy demands of AI data centers. Current projections indicate data center power usage will double within four years.

NeoLogic's founders bring 50 years of combined experience to the semiconductor industry. Leshem previously worked at companies like Intel. The startup aims to deploy its server CPUs in data centers by 2027. They currently collaborate with two hyperscaler partners on design.

The company expects a single-core test chip by year-end. NeoLogic's energy-efficient AI CPUs offer substantial energy savings.

NeoLogic's technology offers significant energy savings, impacting construction costs and capital investment for future data centers. Unlike traditional approaches by companies such as Nvidia or AMD, NeoLogic focuses on fundamental logic innovation.
