Vilnius-based MELP, an employee well-being platform, has secured €1.25 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Coinvest Capital, with additional support from several business angels.
The company will use the capital to strengthen its position in the UK market.
Strategic Growth in the UK Market
MELP plans to allocate most of the new funding towards developing its UK operations. The company will specifically target mid-size businesses that employ frontline workers. This strategy aims to build on the platform's recent success and challenge established providers like Perkbox and Reward Gateway.
Since its last funding round in January 2024, the company has seen significant growth. Its user base expanded from 16,000 to 68,000, while sales increased more than 2.5 times. This rapid scaling in the UK tech scene is supported by major contracts with clients such as LTG Group and Affidea Group.
Launched in 2022, the platform offers personalized benefits, internal communication tools, and recognition programs. Furthermore, MELP is integrating artificial intelligence to automate tasks and enhance its intranet, reflecting a broader trend of AI in HR. The company projects €3 million in sales through its employee benefits marketplace in 2025.
