Magic has raised $10 million in a seed round to develop its AI-powered software for restaurants. The company builds customer relationship management (CRM) tools for the hospitality industry. New York venture firm Lerer Hippeau led the investment, with participation from Major Food Group.
The company’s first product, Loyalist, helps restaurants manage guest data. It tracks important details like dining habits, order history, and visit frequency. This allows restaurants to centralize customer information and move beyond outdated systems.
Magic uses artificial intelligence to help personalize the guest experience. The platform can craft marketing messages that match a restaurant's unique brand voice. It also recommends actions, such as sending targeted emails to encourage repeat business. This technology enables restaurants to provide high-touch service more consistently.
Notable users already include Major Food Group, Le Bernardin, Cosme, and Momofuku. The software aims to improve guest relations and reservation management.
