Legora raises $150M to advance its AI legal platform

Legal technology company Legora has raised $150 million. The new funding values the company at $1.8 billion. Bessemer Venture Partners led the Series C round. Existing investors including ICONIQ, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator also participated.

Legora develops an AI-powered platform for legal professionals. Lawyers use the software for document review, research, and drafting. The investment will support global expansion and continued product development.

Legora plans to more than double its headcount in the next year.

The company serves tens of thousands of professionals at major law firms. Clients include Linklaters, Deloitte Legal, and Bird & Bird. The UK is one of its fastest-growing markets.
