Interhuman AI Secures €2M Pre-Seed for Social Intelligence AI

Copenhagen-based Interhuman AI has secured €2 million in pre-seed funding. PSV Tech led the round for the startup developing a social intelligence layer for AI systems.

Interhuman AI decodes non-verbal communication, including facial expressions, body language, and voice tonality. The company translates these into contextual "social signals" for AI systems. This technology integrates into any AI system with minimal code.

The global AI market is expanding rapidly. However, current AI agents often miss non-verbal cues, which constitute a significant portion of human communication. Interhuman AI addresses this gap by enabling AI to interpret subtle human signals.

Advancing AI with Social Awareness

The funding will support building a platform and API for Interhuman AI's core models. It also facilitates expanding the development team with more AI engineers. This expansion is crucial for scaling their innovative technology.

Interhuman AI's technology enhances AI-powered training, coaching, and digital health tools. It provides more natural and personalized interactions. For example, AI can evaluate confidence and empathy in sales training, similar to how Affectiva focuses on emotion recognition.

The founding team combines strong AI expertise and startup experience. CEO Paula Petcu, COO Frederik Sally, and CSO Line Clemmensen lead the company. Their combined background drives the development of this frontier AI. Antler and EIFO also participated in this pre-seed funding round, alongside The Yope Foundation and angels from Ada Ventures.
