Amazon MGM Studios is bringing Rebecca Yarros' massive fantasy hit 'Fourth Wing' to Prime Video. The studio announced the series order at its annual Upfront presentation.

Meredith Averill, known for her work on 'The Haunting of Hill House' and 'Locke & Key', is adapting the novels for television and will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Yarros herself is also attached as an executive producer.

The Story of Violet Sorrengail

'Fourth Wing' centers on 20-year-old Violet Sorrengail, who enters the brutal Basgiath War College with the goal of becoming a dragon rider. The books have become a global phenomenon, captivating readers with their blend of fantasy, romance, and intense action.

Star Power Behind the Scenes

The pilot episode will be directed by Lisa Joy, co-founder of Kilter Films and executive producer of 'Fallout'. Joy, Jonathan Nolan, and Athena Wickham will executive produce via Kilter Films. Michael B. Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo will executive produce through Outlier Society, alongside Liz Pelletier and Sherryl Clark of Premeditated Productions.
