Spacetech company EnduroSat has secured $104 million in new funding. The investment will expand its production of advanced small satellites. The round included participation from Riot Ventures, Google Ventures, and Lux Capital. The European Innovation Council Fund and Shrug Capital also invested. EnduroSat designs, builds, and operates small satellites and their components. Its mission is to make space data more accessible and affordable for organizations. The funding supports a new 188,340-square-foot Space Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. This facility enables the company to manufacture up to two satellites per day. These are ESPA-class satellites, weighing between 200 and 500 kilograms each. This high-rate manufacturing significantly accelerates the time-to-orbit for satellite constellations. The center includes advanced labs, ISO-classified clean rooms, and space qualification facilities. This ensures reliability and cost efficiency in production.
