Cercli raises $12M to advance its AI-powered HR platform

Cercli has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round.

The company builds an AI-powered human resources platform for businesses in the Middle East and North Africa.

The platform helps companies manage employee data, payroll, and benefits. It automates many core HR tasks from onboarding to offboarding. This simplifies complex administrative processes for businesses operating across the region.

The MENA region has diverse and complex labor laws. Cercli's system is designed to handle these local regulations automatically. This helps companies stay compliant while reducing manual work for their HR teams.

A Y Combinator alumnus, Cercli will use the new capital to enhance its technology. The company also plans to expand its team and enter new markets within the region.

The Series A included existing investors YCombinator, Afore Capital and Cotu Ventures. Participating angel investors included Prabhakar Reddy from OpenFX, Jaime Arrieta from Buk, Marco Ogliengo and Francesco Scalambrino from Jet HR, Francesco Simoneschi from Truelayer, Mehdi Ghissassi from AI71 and Gerry Colyer from Clara
