Speaking virtually at the G20 Innovation Ministerial in North Carolina, Elon Musk said AI will probably increase the global economy by 20% to 30%. That is on the order of $20 trillion to $30 trillion per year.

He predicted AI will do anything digital that does not require shaping atoms by hand by end of next year and urged a lighter touch on regulation. Nvidia's Jensen Huang and OpenAI's Sam Altman were also slated to appear.
