Advisor.com, a platform for discovering financial advice, secured $9 million in seed funding. Walkabout Ventures led the round. Long Ridge Private Equity Partners Founder Jim Brown also participated. This capital infusion will accelerate the company's growth.

Accelerating AI-Driven Advisor Connections

The Advisor.com funding will enhance its AI technology-powered advisor-matching technology. It also aims to expand its network of top-tier advisors. Furthermore, the company will accelerate customer acquisition. This investment addresses investors underserved by current market offerings. Specifically, it targets professionals with under $500,000 in investable assets.

Advisor.com's marketplace uses AI to pair investors with vetted fiduciary advisors. The platform rigorously vets advisors on regulatory history, assets under management, and client ratios. It also considers third-party reviews. The company also operates Advisor Wealth Management (AWM). AWM is a rapidly growing RIA. It combines AI with human advisors to bridge the advice gap.

The advisor network includes market leaders like Creative Planning, Edelman Financial Engines, and Vanguard.

Founder Hunter Stunzi previously sold SnapCap to LendingTree in 2017.
