On a day to day basis, we use online services and enjoy the wonderful wide web. But through these experiences, we leave behind hundreds of digital traces; bits of information about us that are collected by companies. When these traces are put together not only can they give others huge insight into our lives, but they can also be used against us.
Founded in late 2018 by three experienced entrepreneurs from the cybersecurity and consumer space, Mine empowers people worldwide to become owners of their personal data without compromising their online experience. We believe that Data Ownership is a fundamental human right, that must be accessible to everyone.

Mine built a non-intrusive technology that reconstructs your footprint by scanning users’ email inbox, only looking at the subject lines of the emails, the sender (the digital service), and the number of times they appear in the inbox. It is important to note that Mine never read, process or collect the content of the emails!
