# RSS Feed Generator > Paste a URL and get a working RSS feed, even when the site never published one: copy the XML, download it, or subscribe to a hosted feed URL. Canonical URL: https://www.startuphub.ai/rss-feed-generator Free to use: yes. Publisher: StartupHub.ai ## What it offers - It detects an existing RSS or Atom feed and returns it instead of building one. - Otherwise it turns the latest article links on the page into an RSS 2.0 feed of up to 25 items. - Copy the raw XML or download it as an .xml file. - You get a hosted feed URL that refreshes on a schedule, for Feedly, Inoreader, Zapier, Make or n8n. ## Why it is different - The official feed wins when one exists, so you never get a scraped copy of a feed the site already has. - Hosted feeds refresh by plan: every 6 hours on Free, hourly on Pro Mini, every 15 minutes on Pro Lite, and every 60 seconds on Pro and above. - Paid plans pay for refresh speed, not for the number of feeds. ## How to use it 1. Paste the site URL: a blog index, a news page or a press page. 2. Wait while the feed is built, or the existing feed is found. 3. Set the refresh rate. 4. Copy the XML, download it, or subscribe to the hosted feed URL. ## Inputs and outputs - Inputs: A site URL, ideally a blog index, news or press page. - Outputs: RSS 2.0 XML with a title, link and date per item, an .xml download, and a hosted feed URL. ## Limits and plans - Without an account, you get 5 feeds a day on the page, with 25 on Pro Mini, 100 on Pro Lite, and 300 on Pro. - The public API allows 10 requests a day from one network without a key, and an API key lifts that limit. - The MCP tool is free to use. - Plans and prices: https://www.startuphub.ai/pricing ## API and MCP | Method | Endpoint | Auth and cost | |---|---|---| | GET | `https://www.startuphub.ai/api/v1/rss?url=` | no key (10 a day per network); an API key lifts the cap | MCP server: `https://www.startuphub.ai/api/v1/mcp` - `generate_rss_feed` (no key) API keys and docs: https://www.startuphub.ai/api-docs ## Related tools - [Article Distribution](https://www.startuphub.ai/article-distribution): Send a finished article to the accounts you connect.
