Honcho is an open-source memory layer for AI agents, built by Plastic Labs. It keeps track of each user across sessions, tools, and machines, so a new session never starts from zero.

Instead of only storing facts, Honcho's reasoning models (Neuromancer) draw conclusions from every interaction and build a living representation of each user, agent, or group. Write messages and reasoning runs automatically; a single context() call returns curated reasoning plus conversation history in about 200ms. Background "dreaming" finds patterns, tests hypotheses, and resolves conflicts over time.
