WINT Water Intelligence raised a $35 million Series C funding round to bolster its AI and IoT solutions for effective water management and leak prevention. The round was co-led by Inven Capital and Insight Partners, with participation from Taronga Ventures and other investors from the real estate and construction tech sectors.

The new funding is earmarked to promote WINT’s global expansion and further technological development. The startup’s solutions are in high demand as stakeholders from contractors to insurers look for methods to mitigate water leaks and reduce related costs.

WINT provides state-of-the-art tools to empower contractors, developers, proprietors, and facility management groups in effectively overseeing water usage across all phases of a building’s existence, spanning from initial construction to day-to-day operations. By harnessing the power of AI, WINT’s innovative solutions enable businesses to eradicate unnecessary water wastage, thereby reducing linked carbon emissions. Their solutions act as safeguards against water-related harm during construction projects and within various commercial and residential structures.

The startup was founded in 2017 by Yaron Dycain and Alon Geva. WINT previously raised $15 million for its Series B funding round in January last year, led by Insight Partners. Other investors in the Series B round included Marius Nacht, Ashtrom, Consensus Business Group, Efraim Rogovin, Electra, Israel Canada, Suffolk Construction and Tidhar Construction.
