## What it offers

- It returns Ahrefs Domain Rating with a gauge and a label.
- Bulk mode checks up to 10 domains pasted one per line or comma separated, sorted by DR.
- It explains the logarithmic scale with real values captured 27 August 2026: wikipedia.org 97, stripe.com 95, startuphub.ai 62.
- It compares DR with Moz DA, Semrush Authority Score and Effective Domain Rating.

## Why it is different

- It provides no signup and a bulk mode, which the free Ahrefs and Moz checkers do not offer.
- Results are cached for an hour, so a re-check is instant.
- It links to Effective Domain Rating, our own score, for when a high DR does not show up in search or AI answers.

## How to use it

1. Type a domain or switch to Bulk and paste up to 10.
2. Submit.
3. Read the DR gauge or the bulk table sorted by DR.
4. If the score looks overrated, open the Effective Domain Rating checker.

## Inputs and outputs

- Inputs: A domain or URL, or up to 10 in bulk separated by lines, commas or semicolons.
- Outputs: The domain and its Domain Rating from 0 to 100, or a table sorted by DR for bulk checks.

## Limits and plans

- Without signup or a card, the checker is free to use.
- There is no fixed daily cap, but a short pause kicks in only when checks come very rapidly.
- The MCP tool needs an API key.
