AI medication management startup, FeelBetter, secured $5.9 million in Series A funding led by Firstime Ventures, and Shoni Health Ventures, with participation from Random Forest VC, The Group Ventures, and existing investor Triventures, bringing the total funding of the company to $8 million.
In the United States, poor medication management among senior patients with multiple chronic conditions leads to 275,000 deaths and over $528 billion in preventable costs annually. FeelBetter, established in 2018, aims to mitigate these challenges by combining advanced pharmacology and clinical capabilities through a unique technology it calls Pharmaco-Clinical Intelligence.
Guided by a diverse team of clinicians, clinical pharmacists, and technologists, FeelBetter has developed a comprehensive solution empowered by AI and machine learning that proactively personalizes medication management. FeelBetter’s technology analyzes healthcare data from various sources, identifying patients at high risk of deterioration and preventable hospitalization due to poor medication management. By using FeelBetter, healthcare providers can allocate resources more efficiently, improve patient services, and prevent costly use of healthcare services.
The funding will help enhance the technology and widen its reach, enabling more healthcare providers to deliver proactive, personalized care.
